Ohana Beach Rentals ~ Not only should rental homes be completely turnkey for vacationers, they should also capture the essence of a Hawaiian retreat. This luxury rental home, listed by Ohana Beach Rentals was designed by co-founder Rachel Daniel. Daniel’s goal for this design was to employ artists who portray Hawaiian life, and marry the ocean front property with the modern design of the home. With breathable cotton fabrics, custom lamp shades, modern Kaypee Soh textiles, and colorful images of flora and sea life throughout, this luxury rental is made to make overnight stays simply wonderful! (See page 5) There are several variations on what “Fully Furnished” means in regard to included items. It could mean simply the furniture, or furniture, linens and artwork, or it could be completely turnkey which is essential for a vacation rental. Ohana Beach Rentals not only connects clients to luxury rentals, a substantial part of their business is also interior design and making properties luxury rental ready. Kristin Counter, General Manager for Ohana Beach Rentals, makes it her goal to turn an empty or partially equipped house into a stocked luxury playground for travelers. The team works with the owners to produce a design that’s pleasing to the homeowner, and yet will still appeal to Hawaii’s vacationers. They ensure that all you will have to bring is a bathing suit. “We make sure that there are different cutting boards, extra bedding and two sets of everything,” said Counter. “And a wine opener - because that’s the first thing someone’s going to want!” In a rental it is also helpful to provide recreational items such as board games and boogie boards. Ultimately, no matter how many items a rental is stocked with, Counter has found that certain turnkey items matter more than others. “Really the things that touch people’s bodies are the most important,” said Counter. “No one is going to complain about the kind of knives you have, but the sheets, the towels, the things that are touching people’s bodies - those are the things that they are going to be most uncomfortable with.”
