Luxury Home Magazine
Maresa Giovannini Editor in Chief It’s that magical time of year again when our days are full of ohana, food, and tradition. When the holiday season rolls around I excitedly gather gifts for family and friends, bake enough pumpkin muffins to feed the neighborhood, and admittedly commit to more festivities than I have time for. But when I realize I’ve bitten off more sugar cookie than I can chew, I remind myself that all the little things make for important traditions. Every family has their own one-of-a-kind traditions. My ohana hosts themed Thanksgiving dinners (this year’s was Greek), spends hours playing the dice game Zilch, and snacks on See’s candy every Christmas morning. Even though they are small traditions, each one builds on another and creates the shape of my family. Thankfully, we also spend Christmas at my Grandma and Grandpa’s home which is large enough to host more than twenty people! If you’re looking for an estate where you can shape your family for generations to come, consider one of Hawaii’s original plantation estates or a modern plantation-style home. please contact me or one of the Realtors® or Industry Professionals in Pacific Luxury Living ™ and Luxury Home Magazine ® for help finding your forever family home. Everyone at Luxury Home Magazine ® Hawaii ™ would like to wish you and your ohana health and beautiful abundance this holiday season and in the New Year. We will see you in 2013!
