Developed by Earl Nisbet, Frank Lloyd Wright’s apprentice, 4131 Black Point Pl has been called The Fallingwater of Honolulu. Wright’s coined Organic Architecture flows in Nisbet’s spectacular steel-frame creation, where terraced cliff-side architecture maximizes Pacific Ocean views from every room. Intricate hand- carved details adorn built-in closets, desks, drawers and bookshelves. Intelligent architecture allows for natural light to fill every room. E arl Nisbet lived and studied alongside Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin, Wright’s elite architectural training facility and home. Selected as one of thirty elite apprentices to study under Wright, Nisbet fully embraced Organic Architecture when constructing 4131 Black Point Place,“The Crest”. Nisbet wrote,“I visited the site in evenings, early mornings, in rain and in windy weather trying to feel the ambiance of the place.” (Taliesin Fellows Newsletter, 2002). Located in prestigious, gated Black Point, The Crest is the embodiment of architectural art. This is 4131 Black Point Place.
