The photo below was a reshoot for Myra Brandt and Renée Hampton of Kahala Associates. Here are some tips I shared with Myra and Renée during the reshoot. TIP #1: Maximize exterior views. If the interior space has captivating exterior views, such as ocean views, your first step might include determining an angle that maximizes these views. TIP #2: Rearrange the furniture. Not only can you rearrange the furniture to accommodate an angle that maximizes exterior views, but you could also try spacing out the furniture more to make the room look more spacious. TIP #3: Minimize shooting the backs of chairs and couches. Instead, think about shooting over the top of chairs and couches. TIP #4: Minimize the amount of walls in the photo.
